Thijs Smit becomes Associate Partner of ONE Risk Advisory

We are proud to announce that Thijs Smit became Associate Partner at ONE Risk Advisory as of 1 January 2023. Thijs is a seasoned internal auditor with more than forty years of experience. He was chief audit executive of six companies, worked in Brussels and London, led audit teams in the Americas and Asia, and carried out audits on every continent. He lectures in “Managing the Internal Audit Function” at the University of Amsterdam. Thijs is a member of IIA Netherlands and has served over the past 25 years as committee member, board member and chair of the board. He recently spent seven years on the Quality Assessment Board, the last three as chair.
