Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM)
An automated process that continuously or in near-real-time collects and analyzes data on internal controls to detect anomalies, policy violations, and control failures early. CCM replaces periodic control testing with ongoing monitoring of entire transaction populations rather than samples, enabling faster anomaly detection and more accurate risk assessments.
