Control information / Control evidence
The collection of data, documents and artifacts required to execute controls and verify their effectiveness. This includes control checklists, interview results, system logs, transaction records and audit trails that demonstrate controls are operating as designed. Control information serves as the foundation for control verification and audit evidence.
