Limited assurance level
A lower level of assurance at which the auditor obtains no indications that matters are not properly designed or operating. This level is equivalent to a review engagement. Limited assurance requires less audit effort and is appropriate for less critical or lower-risk elements where higher assurance would not be cost-effective.
